Maybe you could just buy some sort of pack to mount on the passenger seat and against the sissy bar. You can take the sissy bar back cushion off by first removing the name plate (GENTLY pry off with small screwdriver) then removing the two screws which hold the pad on. You could use these screw holes to fasten through to the bag/pack etc. No passengers, more storage !
